"The best aqua exercise classes. T TH 8-9a and 9-10a."
"Beautiful swim center — if you can get in. We tried to go today, but there was a waitlist for toddler swim at 10:30am (a half hour after they open). Said they let a max of 15 people in, which surprises me given how big the space is. The last time we tried to go, it was randomly closed for “chemical reasons.” The first and only time we’ve been, it was a nice space with a really shallow area great for toddlers. It was very spacious and we were one of two families there. Unfortunately, we got reprimanded for pulling our portable potty by the bleachers for a toddler pee emergency. It’s a shame because this really is a beautiful space, if you could only get in. We’re 1/3 so far. Albany Aquatic is also indoors and 10minutes drive if you find yourself turned away regularly, like we do… it’s also cheaper with plenty of floaties and a basketball hoop."
"It’s massive indoor swimming pool, no need sun screen however, pool management needs to be improved. Expedite check in service, more professional way! And crowd management inside the swimming area is very essential."
"I have been going to the Richmond Swim Center for several years. I am disabled and the personnel is always helping. I enjoy walking in the pool and doing a variety of exercises. Very clean facility."
"We went to the indoor pool and although there weren't very many lanes available, it wasn't too crowded so we were able to get our own lane. They very clearly mark the lanes for fast, slow and medium paces, which was great. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the temperature of the water was nice, but on the warm side. The only downside was that the chlorine smell was pretty strong, but I imagine this is the case for a lot indoor pools and we got used to it quickly."
