"One of my favorite places near home. Please do not go there because one of the things I like about it is that there are not very many people there. There are however many nice dogs. If you are a nice person with a nice dog, please feel free to go there. I would love to meet you and your dog."

"I took a short hike here in January 2024 and enjoyed the well maintained trails, stands of eucalyptus, creek and meadows. There's accessible pit toilets, picnic grounds and easy parking lot to trail access."

"You can't really rate a natural area, but Wildcat is large, rugged, and has amazing views of the city and bay. It's wonderful to have such a place so close to an urban area."

"Love this hike with my dog! Expect some incline but just enough to get a good view of the bay. You can also see a lot of wildlife if you go at the right times."

"This place is such a gem! There are so many different areas to explore and it’s a great spot to go running. Parking can get really busy on the weekends so I would suggest parking on the street near the neighborhoods and walking into the park. I would also suggest sunscreen and plenty of water if you were planning to do the entire hike! The trail is really open and can get really sunny. The paved portion of the trail is so spacious and wide as well as the hiking paths. It’s one of the reasons I keep coming back to this spot since hiking paths can feel so narrow to me."
