"After a water leak at a vacation property, we decided to have S&J do the work and also change the flooring from carpeting to vinyl. We were happy with the initial consult with S&J but were let down with the execution. After replacing the flooring, there was a huge gap between the vinyl and baseboards that the carpet used to fill. They wanted extra money to make adjustments and fill that gap. It looked awful and is something that any contractor should have anticipated. Even worse, we allowed the employees to use the bathrooms in the house (to save money on a Port-a-Potty), and they filled the toilets without flushing (seen on a walk-through). Once they finished the job, we were having plumbing issues. When we addressed this with the management, they said "prove it with a note from a plumber." The plumber came out and found the foam from a paint roller that had been flushed by the employees! Their response: sorry about that."

"We dealt with a lot of their people - from administrative to project manager to electricians to painters, etc. We had multiple projects going on in various areas and rooms of our home - garage, ceilings, cabinet re-works/repair, etc. Every person that we dealt with was very professional, punctual, and courteous. Eric was our primary contact for all of the projects and was very easy and friendly to deal with and handled all of our questions in a timely manner. We have more projects to work on in the future and will be using them again and will happily refer them to anyone else."

"Reviewing of estimate process and front desk: Very kind and knowledgeable employees. Our estimate was very detailed and included things other estimates did not include. Due to holidays we have had issues with insurance and overall timing so work has not been completed and no contract signed. During the in-person inspection, Sean was very knowledgeable and was not afraid to share information like the insurance requirements and he hand measured everything! No 3d photo measures that measure incorrectly."
