"Pete is a real pro when it comes to dog grooming. My Portuguese Water Dog was not particularly happy with the grooming process. She was "fired" by several goomers who could not handle her. They were used to small dogs who could be bullied into complying with whatever the groomer wanted. Needless to state that approach does not work particularly well with a 50 touchy pound dog. Pete charmed Mia with a combination of patience and a ton of treats. He was not able to groom everywhere, every time but over time he got the job done. (Sometimes the dog didn't want her legs messed with, other times her face or her rear was the issue.) Nice to deal with somebody who really, really knows what he is doing."

"Brought our dog here for the first time and she left with an ulcer on her right eye, likely due to some kind of trauma. Her eye has been swollen for a week and the vet says if this gets worse she could lose the eye. We called Grooming Works twice with no response. Unreal... Our dog has been in extreme pain and we have vet bills. I would strongly suggest avoiding this place."
