Reviews
"Hero. It is open on new year Eve, where everywhere is cloaked. The cashier was awesome."
"Staff slammed door and placed out to lunch note on door during business hours. Owners must not want Encinitas business because this will be shared. Poor choice in disgruntled staff on 9/17 6:30 shift. If short staffed come break your employee to not permanently lose buisness"
"The new female manager that started working there in the past week is less than friendly, down rifht rude, and accusatory!! Espcially to someone like me...a loyal customer. This is the ONLY place I stop in at for fuel, cigarettes, soda, coffee, snacks! I am 46. My husband needed gas before work. I grabbed his keys, credit card, and left to go help him with his morning. Ensuring he had an easier time getting to work by doing these little things for him. As I was leaving, I noticed he needed cigarettes. When I arrived at the store, I was my usual happy self. I told the woman I needed $20 in a gas and a pack of my husbands brand of cigarettes. The woman carded me. I explained I just grabbed keys and the credit card to help my husband, but that all the clerks knew me there, I had been carded before they for they for to know me. She said, specifically, and I QUOTE... .. " I don't care! Its now state law that we card everyone. I'm the new manager now." My reply..."I have worked in a gas station. It did not just become a law. It's always been a law to card anyone who looks younger than 21. Common sense prevails. I'm in here all the time, heres my birthday. Please, I'm doing this to help my husband." "Your license could be expired" is what the woman said to ,me next! I couldnt believe that she would stoop so low as to insiutate, let alone verbalize, outload, what she was thinking. This, coming from a manager I thought??!! We spend$100"a of dollars in that store every month! I am beyond the legal age required to purchase cigarettes. My license is NOT expired! WHEN does common sense, customer loyalty, helping out others take presi2dent?? PLEASE, bring someone FRIENDLY, who cares about customer loyalty and knows what TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE REALLY IS!! Leslie"
