"I have nothing but praise and appreciation for the entire staff! In the last 2 weeks I’ve had to take 2 of my cats in for roughly the same thing. They have been extremely thorough with the testing, examinations, and explaining all the results and treatment plans. The office and examination rooms are very clean and also welcoming. The front desk and vet techs are all extremely friendly and helpful. The 3 I have interacted with Jose, Jackie, and I believe Jazmin is her name are seriously 3 of the greatest vet techs I’ve come across in my over 20 years of pet ownership! There is another woman there who sadly I forget her name but she is also incredible. I really want to give a big thank you to the doctor who has seen both of the cats, Dr. Khurmi. I have been a bit of a nervous wreck through this whole ordeal and he has been extremely kind, patient, caring and most of all helpful. In my opinion he is one of the best vets in the whole area. As for pricing, yes it’s a lil on the steep side, but as far as emergency vet care goes, it’s on the lower end for this area.i am just so thankful that we found them. They also offer non emergency vet visits and services so knowing after living here for almost 4 years and going to a few different vets, I now have a piece of mind knowing I finally found the place that I trust with my animals."

"My fur baby just received excellent care from the staff and Dr. I was immediately ushered into a room and care was provided expeditiously and I was informed every step of the way. I’m so thankful we have an emergency vet close by and I highly recommend bringing your animals for care in the event your normal veterinary provider is not available. My normal vet recommended this location for emergency. I will not hesitate to come again. I just hope it’s not soon. Thank you all for the care you gave Cooper today."

"I am so thankful for VUCSC and Dr. Natt! One evening, I impulsively adopted a one eyed cat after seeing that he was in need of immediate medical care. I didn’t know what to do or who to call because we had just moved from so cal to nor cal. I looked on Yelp to find a vet who was open and found this vet clinic and called them. Dr. Natt was so kind and allowed me to bring my new kitty (Kikko) in first thing the next morning! He was so great with us and let me know that Kikko needed surgery. (I already knew this before I adopted him, that’s why I took him in was to get him medical help). Dr. Natt was kind, professional, and reasonably priced. I felt comfortable with the facilities and the staff and they even checked in with me the evening that my kitty had to stay over night to make sure I was okay! That was what did it for me, I knew that this veterinarian office cared for my pet as well as for me. Dr. Natt now is the vet for both of my sweet kitties and we are so happy we found him!!!"

"This place beats all the emergency hospitals in and around Sacramento in quality care, efficiency and pricing. No wait times, very experienced Emergency Vet Dr Khurmi and Dr Natt. I have worked with Dr Khurmi in the past and he has done some life saving surgeries for my rescue dogs. He is very compassionate and skilled in what he does. He is very personable and goes the extra mile to treat the animals. He has worked with hundreds of my rescue dogs and his diagnosis has been on point. Dr Natt is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon who has performed countless surgeries. The staff at the hospital are very respectful and kind. I have been to the hospital after work hours and always got superior treatment."

"My dog was bitten by a rattlesnake, but we did not know it had happened. Twelve hours later, he had symptoms of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, severe malaise, and facial swelling. His regular vet would not make time to see him, and a 2nd vet could not provide the level of care needed. By the time the snake was discovered and he was brought in here, the third attempt for veterinary care, he was also having clotting issues and was critically ill. Dr Khurmi quickly assessed the needed treatment and started immediate care. They kept him overnight and stayed with him to ensure he remained stable and supervised. Outcomes for late treatment of rattlesnake envenemation are poor, and my dog is alive and well thanks to their knowledgeable care and treatment. They helped my dog when others would not and could not. They treated him like the medical emergency he was. For a new urgent care vet center, they are fully stocked, right down to the antivenin and plasma he needed. We're so happy to have this caring team available to us and grateful to them. Highly recommended. For future care, we'll come here first."
