"This is the best vet around. They have amazing bedside manner and they treat my dog as though he’s their own. They’ve been able to get him in last minute, they answer calls quickly, and it’s easy to set up appointments. I am so grateful for them! The customer service is so great and I can’t say enough good things about this place."

"Getting an appointment with a veterinarian in a timely fashion is rare these days unless you have an acute emergency. However, the East San Rafael Clinic was able to see our ailing pup within a few days. The staff is professional and friendly and they know how to interact with animals as an expert should. The doctors did put some effort into minimizing expenses while still providing the necessary tests and treatments to solve our problem and get our doggy back to health. Still, the expenses always do seem to be exuberant and can end up being a barrier to properly treating any issues that are more involved than a simple UTI... But this is an amazing community vet in Marin County and is my local home clinic where my dog will continue to get care from."

"We had to put our 23 year old Daschund down after the inoperable tumor in his lungs ruptured. They have a lovely little room where they have you wait while they put the IV cannula in. Joey was given a tranquilizer which allowed him to fall asleep prior to the drug used to stop his heart. He was diagnose a year ago and was expected to only last six months."

"Highly recommend ESRVC and Dr. Neupauer! I first went in for a checkup and some vaccines last month. My cat, Minerva, seemed to like Dr. Neupauer and the vet tech she met. Minerva can be pretty dramatic sometimes and I was worried she would be a menace, but they did a great job with her and kept her calm. We scheduled a dental at that appointment which I took her in for yesterday. Dr. Neupauer did a fantastic job on her dental and on keeping me in the loop with how things were going and answering my questions. I called a few times before/after her appointment to make sure I was doing everything I should, and the ESRVC team was patient and kind when answering my many questions. Not sure of the name of the vet tech who took care of her all day during her dental, but she was great as well. She mentioned that she loved my cat(she's a very lovable, sweet, affectionate girl) and that Minerva got plenty of love throughout the day. The team was patient with giving me quotes on different things(I am poor and Marin is so expensive), and while things were expensive for me personally, they were in line/a little cheaper than some other clinics in the area."

"I've taken two of my dogs there and seen both ends of the spectrum: compassion when treating and eventually euthanizing my first one and excitement when performing a wellness check with my new puppy. When planning to say goodbye to our last dog, they were patient and understanding while we decided, and NEVER came across as cold or impatient. In fact, I could see the doctor's eyes swell with tears as my wife and I cried while we put him down. While treating our new puppy Dr Evans is absolutely fantastic with him. The best way to describe it is that it's like he's treating his own pet - how can you ask for more? I wish family doctors had that type of communication skills. I get appointments relatively promptly and have not had to wait long when arriving. My only suggestion for improvement is the clinic doesn't feel or smell as clean as other vets I've used, but in no way will that deter me from staying with them."
