"Stayed in Villa Inn for 2 nights to explore Marin, Muir Woods, San Rafael, and Napa, and would highly recommend it. Comfortable stay, the rooms were very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The owner of Villa Inn hails from Italy, so it was cute to see references from Venice and other spots in Italy there. Check-in is open till late hours, and ample parking is available for your car. Continental breakfast is served, much like any other inn/ hotel but good to get your day started. It is right on the highway, so stopping by here is pretty easy. Very reasonable accommodation for the area."

"We had a wonderful stay at the villa inn. The staff was so incredibly friendly and warm, I’d stay here again just for them! Our room was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable night. The property is located in a quiet area and the owners have cultivated lovely plants throughout. The $118 we paid was by far the cheapest in the area and we were surprised to learn that it came with a modest but sufficient continental breakfast as well. It was pet friendly and we would certainly stay here again if we’re ever back in the area."

"Great place to stay. The room had a lot of space, it wasn't terrible for the price! I would definitely recommend this place for someone on a budget. It is located in a pretty quiet area. Fast food restaurants and some gas stations are closed by 9 pm or earlier. There is a restaurant on site, but it was closed during my stay. Nice staying here!"

"Recently had a three night stay. The folks in the office are very pleasant and helpful. My room was simple, clean and comfortable. If I needed supplies such as extra coffee packets, they were offered freely. The cafe is pretty good, though I only had one meal. It's close enough to downtown and makes for a good walk if you're into that. All in all, it was a good experience and their rates are quite reasonable."
