"I had writing reviews, but it has been a long time since I have been this frustrated with a company. My doctor was great, aside from being very late to my telehealth appointment. My issue is with LifeStance. I had an initial telehealth appointment and the doctor showed up 20 minutes late. I had signed off thinking he forgot until I got a notification saying he entered the meeting. I let it slide because I get it, things happen. He was very helpful. He scheduled me for a follow up appointment to see how things were going, but said he would then have me follow up with my primary care physician. My follow up appointment was on 12/19 (Tuesday). I was feeling much better at this point and didn't feel a follow up was needed, especially since I would be following up with my primary care physician after. I cancelled the appointment on Saturday 12/16. At the end of December I received a bill for $150 for late cancellation. Apparently you have to cancel 48 hours before the appointment, and they do not count weekends. I guess that was my mistake for missing that part in all the initial documents they sent. Where i'm annoyed is that their doctors can show up 20 minutes late for an appointment, but I cancel more than 48 hours before an appointment but because they don't count weekends I get charges $150. They obviously don't care about my time because I can't charge them a late fee for wasting 20 minutes of my time. My copay is only $20. I would have gladly attended the appointment had I known there would be a fee. Especially since once the doctor decided to show up he only spent about 5 minutes with me. *update* Lifestance responded to this post asking me to reach out to them via email so they could pass it on to the appropriate team. I did that and received a response on January 9th saying they are sharing my feedback with their team. As of today, January 18th, I have not heard anything. This just emphasizes my recommendation to anyone thinking of reaching out to Lifestance....do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!"
"Excellent customer service in verifying my benefits coverage AND finding the best practitioner for me. I receive services for mental health therapy (virtual) and medication management (virtual and in-person) with Lifestance. I couldn't be happier or more satisfied with the care that I receive here. Many providers to choose from as well to find the perfect fit. I highly recommend!"
"Dr. Martino was very thorough and kind throughout entire interview. She helped my issues and guided me in any possible ways I needed. Highly recommended."
"I’ve only had one visit in which the provider didn’t seem to believe that I have the condition I have been diagnosed with and treated for. The visit was stressful, long and disappointing because at the end I was told that I need an in person appointment anyway. I don’t know why they didn’t just book me an in person appointment to begin with so now I have to jump through even more hoops to get refills and have to talk the provider into understanding that I have the diagnosis I know I have. I feel like I’m being gaslit and at the end of the appointment my mental health is worse. We’ll see how the second appointment goes."
"Zoom appt's both times, they were like night n day. 1st appt I was talking for a couple hours and my Dr was really nice and listened and took notes. Told her what my issues are and asked if she could help me. Then today I felt like I offended her because she needed to go suddenly I didn't know the appt was going to be like 30 minutes. She was nice, we are getting to know each other. But I feel like I said the wrong thing and now I have to wait another month I don't get it. Need my medications reevaluated from my therapist's recommendation from over a year ago. Suddenly I felt the conversation was stopped! I was told let's wait another month? I must point out, they need to add the link to the text msg they send out about your appointment. I couldn't remember how I got on last month. I panicked that I couldn't figure out how to get in from your web site. I reread last months text and clicked that link and then I found my way into my appointment. I'm not sure I'm liking anything about this (new to me) system yet? Nice doctor counts, but would like clarity on how long to expect for each appt and talk about what you can do for me. If nothing happens by the 3rd appt, it's a big waste of time and money! Oh and send a link every appt on your text! You can't expect New customers to remember everything after one month of being new! I don't get my emails by no fault of mine. Thank you!"
