Children's Choice Dental Care

""0" star should be an option. 4TH visit: I made my child an appointment 5:20PM. The employee was a male that took down the appointment, 3 weeks before. Received 1-day before the appointment calls that my child has a "2:40 PM apointment." I called twice, and left 2 messages that the time is 5:20pm and will keep it. I went to the appointment, and they acted like they did not understand. 3RD visit: Staff are untrained. For example, "I am interested in doing B and I." Staff asked me "what is B and I?" B is tooth "B," and I is tooth "I." I had to tell this to the person scheduling (Asian, female) I left the office, and will not return. You have been warned!"

"We were called back right at the time our appointment was scheduled for. While the room that they see the kiddos in is pretty compact, they have screens for the children to watch to calm them before being seen. The staff were the sweetest and absolutely kid friendly! They ALL treated my daughter like they knew her and were her “friend”. HIGHLY recommended. They are also very quick!"

"Not a good place for children under 2. No options without fluoride for cleaning. They don’t have eye goggles for children under 2 and blinded my toddler multiple times by lamp. It was our first dental appointment and dental hygienist just told us to lay our toddler down in the chair and immediately started opening her mouth and trying to go there with instruments and start cleaning without saying a word to parents or explaining what she will be doing. I had to stop her and ask what are you cleaning with and if it had fluoride she said it did. I told her we want cleaning done without fluoride since child is well under 2. She turned around pulled another instrument or brush and went back to attempting to do tooth cleaning. I had to stop her and ask what is she cleaning with, response was it was something else yet still had fluoride. After we said we don’t want that done, dental hygienist just said there is nothing she can do for us and only thing we can do is wait for doctor who haven’t showed up for 25mins. They shouldn’t be accepting patients that young or parents should be given heads up on available options. Overall place is small and 6 or so dental chairs are crammed into one room."

"I had a great experience at Children's Choice. My son has autism and can be easily traumatized by doctors or dentists being too pushy. The staff here knew when it was becoming too much for him. They knew when to step away and give him a couple minutes. They took their time and didn't try to rush him through the appointment. This will be the only dental provider I will have treat my child."

"A great experience as always. The staff is so positive and up beat and always make our little one feel comfortable and safe. Everyone from the hygienist to the Dentist provides a positive and relaxing experience. Getting a 4 year old to sit still long enough for an exam and cleaning is a tough task but they do a great job at it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great dentist for your children."
