"It was so hard to find a new Veterinarian after Oceana Pet Hospital closed. We tried a few, but none really stuck until we met Dr. Tais at Masson. She was personable and took her time getting to know each of my pups. The office staff are also a very big reason we chose to stay at Masson. Jennifer and Sarah are super detailed and knowledgeable."

"I like this vet hospital. Their staff is very caring and we’ve always trusted the veterinarian with her assessments and plans of care. We’ve been here frequently as our dog, maylee, neared the end of her life and i was always happy with the care that was given to her. I am thankful i chose this place to allow maylee to cross to the next life because i knew she was comfortable here. "Excellent quality, excellent people at an excellent price! Our dog has a chronic condition where the prior vet was requiring a full workup at least every six months costing hundreds of dollars despite there being no deterioration in the dog’s condition. Here the vet was extremely careful about which tests the dog needed, explaining her reasoning, and then worked with her team to find the most cost effective combination. Then when the results came back she was very generous with her time explaining both individual test results and how she interpreted them together. She then suggested tweaking the dog’s medications to see if he improves. She also said that she would renew his prescriptions requiring him to come in just once a year, unless something changes. And I’m not mentioning the excellent service her staff provided. We feel lucky to have found this vet and her team! A further update 6 months later: If I could give six stars I would. Our older dog has had a couple more medical problems and both Dr. Perpetuo and her team have continued to be exceptional including being judicious about tests and cost. I had two experiences where her team went out of their way to help, including tracking down a reasonably priced pharmacy that had a hard to find unusual prescription that their office didn’t carry. Best of all, our dog is his usual self again, doing well. This vet is a find!"

"I took my dog in today because this vet stopped approving her skin allergy medication because they said they wanted to do a blood test. This prevented my dog from getting the medication she needed and turned a small rash into the picture seen below and over $600 in charges. I paid for a check up in addition to many other things and was told the vet was too busy to speak with me (even though I was the only customer at the end of my visit). I've never been to a vet where I wasn't allowed to see the vet. When I paid, I requested to have the blood test results sent to me. The receptionist looked uneasy and then later met me at my car to tell me my dog needed to go back in because they never did a blood test although I paid for one. I feel that I was taken advantage of. The support staff was friendly and kind but that can't make up for a vet who refuses to speak with paying customers and their sick pets. I would never badmouth a business in trying times like these. I'm sharing because this experience was way out of the norm and people really should find a vet elsewhere."

"Overall an amazing experience at Masson Vet Hospital! Referred to here by a coworker. I’m really surprised that this place was not ranked on google nor Yelp when I searched vet clinic/hospital. The doctor was not only knowledgeable and patient but also only recommended necessary treatments! The vet techs and assistants were very friendly and responsive when we were booking the appointment. Also the prices here are the most reasonable of all the Bay Area vet clinic/hospitals we visited/called. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone who’s in for a primary vet as well as for any unexpected situations. It is definitely a place where everyone cares for and pours their attention to your furbabies!"
