Peninsula Youth Sailing Foundation

Peninsula Youth Sailing Foundation, located at 1200 Chesapeake Drive in Redwood City, California, offers a comprehensive sailing program for youth in the Bay Area. From beginner classes to competitive travel teams, our program emphasizes safety and teaches the values of character, community, and competitiveness. We aim to foster a lifelong love for sailing and a sense of stewardship for our waterways and environment.

One of our exciting fundraising events is The Amazing Raise, where youth sailors participate in an adventure race to help raise essential funds for our fleet, sails, and equipment. Participants compete in a series of challenges on land and sea, with the top fundraiser receiving special recognition. The event concludes with a live broadcast showcasing highlights from the race and an award ceremony celebrating our sailors' achievements.

PYSF was honored with the Chester Nimitz Perpetual Trophy for "Outstanding Junior Program for Northern California" by PICYA. Our upcoming events include high school regattas, championships, and training clinics. Our dedicated coaches are preparing for the season, and we look forward to welcoming all participants to the water soon.
