"I have been a patient of Dr. Nina Birnbaum for a Looooonnnnngggg time. We joke that while not one of her oldest patients, certainly one of the longest. My first visit with her was for travel vaccines in the late 1990s at a clinic in Berkeley. I've been a faithful customer ever since. She is an amazing clinician and a wonderful human being. I never feel rushed, which could mean that your appointment might be a little late because she doesn't rush anyone. So while your waiting, know that she is giving everyone before you the same attention that she will give you. I wouldn't have it any other way. My patience is worth her time for others, because I know she'll go there with me too. I have been through a lot with her and am beyond grateful that I have found her."

"Nina is an exceptional doctor. She listens carefully, and investigates all possible diagnoses and treatments. She is extremely smart and caring, and is able to "untangle" symptoms and resolve concerns. She rarely has openings, but if you can catch one, you will not be disappointed. The whole group she works with is wonderful, so signing up with other doctors and nurse practitioners is recommended if you can't get in to see her. If she is not available, that is who you see anyway, and I have always had great care from the whole team."
