Ronald J. May, PhD

"I met Dr. Ronald May yesterday for a couple's therapy session to work on communication with my boyfriend. Dr. May was very unprofessional, argumentative, arrogant and unhelpful. He'd already picked my side and was villainizing my boyfriend. He wouldn't listen to my boyfriend's side and would talk over him then accuse my boyfriend of not listening to him. Instead of being professional and respectful, he scolded and yelled at us and told us that 'he (Dr. May) is in charge here.' Then he decided he couldn't help us, told me I wouldn't be billed for this session and hung up our zoom call after 30 minutes of the session which was supposed to be an hour. I waited weeks for this appointment and was really hoping that it could help us with our communication but Dr. May's behavior was startling. I've been a client with the Psychology Center for over 2 years now and I adore my regular therapist, so I was expecting Dr. May to be a great resource for me as well. I'm left feeling very unsatisfied and baffled by his unprofessionalism. I would not recommend seeing him."
