"My name is Rick Martinez and I love Centennial Lutheran Church!! Not only was I baptized here when I was born, I went to grade school, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, got confirmed in 8th grade, and finally got married to Stacy (who also went to school and church here) in 2005. I was the youngest church president ever elected, and now I have been the head youth leader for 13 years. On Sundays I teach a Teen Bible Class. I have also been blessed to be the head elder and worship committee chairman for the past three years. So why do I love Centennial? When we have to flicker the lights twice before church to signal that church is starting ("last call"), it says that we are social and friendly. When we have 49 people come to a youth group event during a pandemic because they do not want to miss out, that says a lot about support we get from our students and their families. When our youth group volunteers to do a soup kitchen, host an Easter breakfast (at 730am), or be a part of a Christmas Eve Live Nativity, it says a lot about the love they have for their Savior Jesus Christ and giving all the glory to Him. When you have a Pastor who greets members as they walk into church and is so willing to talk with you and listen to you, it makes you proud to have someone like him as your Shepherd, your leader and your friend. Centennial is not just my church, it is my church family. It is all about faith, family, friends, fellowship and fun. And I am proud to call Centennial my church home!!"

"My name is Stacy Martinez and I have been a member of Centennial almost my entire life. I was baptized, went to school here, married at the church and am very involved with many things at the church and school. I am blessed to know such loving Christian people and enjoy worship, playing piano and organ, singing in the choir and getting to be a part of a great church and school. I have met many life long friends here. My mom is a member here as well as my husband, step daughter and all of my inlaws! Centennial has much to offer and I hope and pray many come to know Jesus and His love for us!"
