"I love everything about this gym except that they don’t clean the family locker rooms. They are always full and get used frequently but staff don’t clean often. Mold in the showers and they smell. Also people don’t clean equipment after use. There should be staff cleaning and teaching users to do so as well. Swimming instructors are amazing!"
"If you have a child that is scared of the water or having a hard time learning how to swim, you need to come here. My daughter took the beginner swim course 3 times and wasn't progressing. We were at the point where we didn't know what to do. One day during lessons a couple parents came up to us and told us to schedule private lessons with Diane, which we ended up doing. After ONE lesson we saw a drastic improvement in our daughter. Only a few weeks later and she is starting to swim. Diane is a natural with kids and my daughter loves her. She is beyond amazing and we are forever grateful that we found her. Thank you!!!!"
"It’s just getting worse if I’m being honest. Growing up in the area of Milwaukee you know there’s limited resources when it comes to any gyms for basketball or indoor swimming period. This particular Ymca I don’t know if its every Y but this one almost never has the gym open just for personal use. They mostly always have it reserved in classes for the elderly (yoga, Zumba, pickeball etc) who which are almost never respectful and feel like they own the gym. When, and it finally is open for actual basketball playing or personal use, it’s on a sign up for play pick up games only full court. For only 1-2 hours and if it’s just an open gym time, you usually only have 30 minutes to an hour. If you just want to workout from a shoot around it’s impossible now when they have two very much capable gyms to do so. But they rather have pointless classes going all the time instead. On top of that there is staff that are generous but alot of them are rude or act like dictators. I’ve had a family membership with them for a year which is about 90 usd. Really thinking just going down the road to Princeton and paying more just to do things I want to do and with no time restraint.. this ymca has always been nice clean and everything you LOOK for in a gym. But through the years it’s become less and less available unfortunately."
"I haven't been to this gym before and I soon will become a member there. But some people on here should stay at home if they wanna complain about other people and having a so called dirty space. Looking at pictures makes me laugh. It's not even that bad. Make a home gym and you'll have no problems."
