"I was extremely impressed and very amazed to see that most of the staff knew a little bit of sign language! As someone who is disabled, it was amazing how welcome I felt! The staff went out of their way to talk to me and interact with me. I will definitely be going to more shows here! The after show dance party was fun as well!"
"One of the nicest small theaters around. Comfortable seats, very friendly staff, and reasonably priced drinks. I highly recommend taking in a show here. Set design and costumes are phenomenal here."
"I attended a delightful performance of "School of Rock" on Thursday, December 28. The actors/musicians were above talented. Only one thing made the evening less than ideal. We were seated in the last row (still fantastic seats) and through the entire show, people were whispering loudly behind us. I'm not above giving an annoyed look. Imagine my surprise, and truly disgust, to see that it was the show's director and the ushers. Shame on you for detracting from the wonderful performance we were all there to see. You truly should have known better. Take your little chitchat out to the lobby. No one wants to be subjected to it. I will continue to attend and support Skylight, but I won't attend anything with which this unprofessional director is involved."
"An true little gem of a theater I was not expecting while visiting Milwaukee. It is a classic proscenium theater with three levels of boxes, but shrunk down. Tons of space front of house and a bar upstairs made intermission easy. Parking is also easy. If you are coming from a bigger city you will be amazed how easy the whole theater going we experience is, and as an Equity house so close to Chicago, you are not making a trade off regarding the talent on the stage."
"I ❤️ this theater. Had a phenomenal time seeing Candide. Felt like I was at a Broadway show but without the traffic and hullabaloo. The actors were incredibly fun yet skilled. Lots of great restaurants nearby"
