"I cannot say enough good things about the school. They were very accommodating to my family when we came mid-semester. They fight very hard to keep children in school and also ensure that there is a good 'at home' platform for parents who feel there children are safer at home. The teachers manage there classes well and the principle is very open minded to the needs and concerns of the parents and students. I wish this school well in the future and thank you for the great experience."
"We love St. Thomas Aquianus Academy! My kids get a top tier Catholic education. The principal, teachers and staff are very approachable and personable. They always demonstrate how much they care about family values and community involvement. I am so proud my kids are apart of this school."
"My family has been at St. Thomas Aquinas Academy since 2011. The nice thing about the school is that you really get to know the parents of the other kids in the class through any of the many school or extracurricular activities. There is a great sense of family and an instilled respect for giving back to each other inside or outside of the immediate school community. While the academics are strong, the fact that I know my child is safe physically and emotionally is worth so much more. The teachers and staff strive to create an environment of inclusiveness and collaboration within the classrooms and between grade levels."
"St. Thomas Aquinas Academy has been our families' school for going on 9 years with my daughter starting in K4. We have had good experiences with the academics and structure the school focuses on. The faith based education is very important to us and St. Thomas Aquinas Academy delivers that. I see it in the way it has shaped our daughter into a kind and compassionate student and person. The sense of community within the school is fantastic and my wife and I have met parents that will remain life long friends of ours. The extracurricular activities, sports, theater, and after school programs are a bonus. We are proud to call St. Thomas Aquinas Academy our home."
"Our daughter, Charlotte, began her STAA journey last fall as an incoming K4 student. It was a learning experience for her, but most especially for us as parents. However, the STAA parent network is incredibly strong, and everyone was so eager to help us adapt to our “new normal.” It’s been wonderful just how many things there are for Charlotte to do at STAA. In addition to the usual reading, writing and arithmetic, children get to experience art, music, technology, science, and gym. We’ve noticed that when we remind Charlotte about what to expect to do each day from the monthly calendar they send home, no matter the day or the activity, she’s always super excited! Finally, we’ve been very impressed by the Catholic community and help from upper class students during all school Masses, recess and lunch. While a typical 8th grade student might prefer to spend their lunch time with their friends, most of the older students choose to give back to the school by volunteering as a buddy for kindergarten students. Whether it’s to sit next to them during Mass and help them follow along with the readings, opening up their milk cartons at the start of lunch, or helping them with art projects, their willingness to come forth and be a friend to these young students is truly overwhelming."
