"I used to be a student at Wedgwood Park. I have many reasons to give the school a one star rating. 1. The food sucks (one time some of my rice was uncooked) 2. Some of the teachers are more immature than the actual students. 3. The school is to strict when it comes to going to the bathroom or drinking water because you always need to be by a teacher or security guard to go anywhere. 4. There’s a lot of ghetto kids which means there’s a lot of fights. 5. There’s not a lot diversity in the school (they call themselves the most diverse middle school) 6. We’re all divided and don’t really get to mix with other students."

"I received a call about a month ago from my son's orchestra teacher complaining that my son had been disrespectful bc he continued to ask questions. I brought up to him that it was my knowledge that if the kids in the class had any questions to present them to another teacher in class. Mr. Lampkins big complaint was that my child continued to ask questions. I requested to set up a meeting since he brought up a few other complaints, which was surprising to me since the school year is half over and this was never brought up to my attention and was told by Mr. Lampkins that he would call me back, which he did not that day. I proceeded to contact him the following day and was told by him that he would call me back shortly, which he never did. A week later I contacted him via email and again never heard a response back. A week after that I left VM requesting that he contact me back and surprise surprise STILL no answer. I contacted the school to make a complaint and was told that the principal would be contacting me to discuss my concerns and no call. I am a parent that is invested in supporting my child's education and collaborating with the teachers, especially if it's brought to my attention that there is an issue. We are looking for a new school moving forward as I am unable to accept this unprofessionalism when it comes to my son and his education. WEDGEWOOD GET IT TOGETHER!!! YOU HAVE PEOPLE'S CHILDREN IN YOUR HANDS!"

"This is a good school for those who want to get into Regan. Wedgewood is the first IB middle school in the state. There is alot of security and it feels like a little to much. We aren't allowed phone usage wbich I don't agree with. The teachers are strict an we have alot of homework. The work is challenging so if you don't have the best grades don't expect anything to be easy. Mr.Drake is a terrible teacher. He is very inappropriate. I feel bad for those students that have him."

"I'm really upset about this whole thing. My grandson and others had to go to a random beach and pick up garbage with only protection some plastic gloves. He said there were needles and dead birds. Which they had to leave alone and tell teacher. Now you tell me what kind of school outing was this in 95 degree heat? Punishment? If the kids are picking up a pile of garbage, how do they know if there is a needle mixed in it. Lots of people sitting around in jail, but no let's get the kids out there to pick up the garbage. Used needles and who knows what else. Really dumb."
