"Management hasn’t been great in the few years we’ve been here. Maintenance of the property is very poor, things have aged really poorly like the dog run. Instead of maintaining it, they decided to close it forever, and it’s been sitting there for months, not taken down, just closed off. We signed the lease because of the dog run specifically, and now management won’t let us break early without paying a large fee (which is wrong, they changed what we signed up for, so we should be able to break early with no fee). Be very careful if you sign up for this place, it’s a nice looking apartment on the surface, but much worse in the details. Also management decided to increase rent by 100’s of dollars for this upcoming lease term, saying it’s needed for the maintenance. They hardly maintain anything, the garage door has been broken for over a year and they haven’t fixed that. It’s a greedy management company."

Management did not cite specific reasons, provide transparent communication, or agree to a rent reduction."

"been living here for about 1.5 years now. I want to share some specific feedback (positive and opportunity) Positive 1. Great management. The manager always responds right away and I love some clear communications. 2. Location: it's super quiet despite next to train track (which I mean you know its a train so I expect some horn blaring haha) 3. Gym: I actually use gym if I am running low on time to go to the actual gym 4. Community room: straight to the point, love the fact that I can book it ahead of time by sending an email Opportunity 1. residents sometimes do not clean after their dogs when they pee so you can smell the aftermath of their business. The cleaning staffs do clean every day and they are friendly. 2. internet: internet should at least have a little extra upgrade. just got an email from the property yesterday on the upgrade up to 1 GIG internet but this is 2022... I wish we can at least get up to 300MB without paying for the extra upgrade but I understand. Other than that. Our family with 2 cats have been living a quiet and blessed life."

"Best place I have lived in. Management was helpful during all aspects of my time there. I am used to people skimming off the top of the return deposit but McGrath cemented trust with me that this is a company you can trust not to rip you off. The apartment had modern (Whirpool) appliances, washer/dryer stack combo, and sizeable bathrooms. If I live in Madison again, I will go through only them. Must love dogs, otherwise obnoxious to live near. Only complaint"

"Modern place to live in a convenient location. Right on the bike path, close to Atwood bars and entertainment, as well as Olbrich Park and Lake Monona. Also the Feed Mill is right there with coffee and Ian's Pizza. The property manager and maintenance are top notch. Responsive and friendly people. Note if you are noise sensitive, best to avoid the Fair Oaks facing side, which can be heavily trafficked."
