Hanover Square Apartments

"Almost year 2. My personal experience has been horrible. Sold 2x. The staff is rude & very insensitive to your needs or request(disabled). Needs new windows rains/snows in units & cold in winter/ hot in summer, needs sealing in & out. They suggest you put plastic on windows instead of them fixing. Just got Heater fixed & still need to use space Heaters for warmth. Smells horrible in the apartments common areas garbage /dog/ cat feces in hallways & garage area. plumming issues. Bug & rodent infested. You can never find the managers/ upper management/maintenance or get responses from them when you need them. I have been without air & heat 2x since moving in then they didn't want to promptly fix things. Everything needs to be fixed here. They fool you to get you in, you'll be taken by the esthetics of the apartments but underneath the surface it is not a good or foundationally sound place to move to. Staff needs to be revamped. I hope the new company is listening. This could be a beautiful community with some changes."

"Manager lives on site and is very strict and nosy. Nice when you first meet her but after you sign the lease it’s over with she controls you your guests your car your music everything. The “maintenance guy” is a lonely weirdo who thinks he owns the place because his bff is the manager."

"I thought this place was a nice place to live once it was time for me to get my security deposit but that was a lie. I was the best tenant at Hanover Square paid my rent on time every time and when it was time for me to get my security deposit back. They charged me $220 for some drip pans and crumbs around the refrigerator who charges that much for some drip pans that’s ware and tear you can get that from the dollar store. You can’t tell me that a good tenant who pays her rent every month on time never had a missed payment or issue at my residence have to pay $220 for some freaking drip pans and crumbs on the floor do not rent at hangover square because they cheat you out of your security deposit that’s how they make money there."

"DO NOT STAY HERE!!! First off its not safe at all I lived in apartment 210 an the people living right next door too us broke into our apartment within the first week of living there. I told Debbie an called police an she did nothing an it had happen to not just me now. but multiple family's staying there an they yet still do not add cameras in all the exit's or entry ways or do anything about the neighbors who tried robbing us. They still live there on the second floor next too 210. They also try to get you for every cent when you move out because you do NOT need to have your carpet cleaned at the end of the year if not stated in the lease per Wisconsin state law. She was very argumentive on the move out on how we cleaned when I did a lot of hours cleaning. An last but not least I did the survey at the end of the move out for $10 dollar to be added to your account an they never paid me for it. Also called them about it an they still haven't paid me?? $10 dollars really worth lying to your previous tenants saying your send it an never do?? I see why you got bad reviews an deserve them. Otherwise it was nice it wasn't right in town that's it."
