"SCAM! This apartment will not allow you to view the apartment without applying ($35). Then, I couldn't get them to pick up the phone to schedule an appointment. One and a half weeks later, they emailed me to send a lease. I never got a call back about viewing the apartment. I emailed and told the manager about this experience and I was told that this is their policy and they wouldnt refund me. Its all a scam. Charging $35 before you can even view an apartment, then not calling the person. Shame on them. People dont have unlimited time and money to waste on a process like this."

"Agree with another reviewer. Make sure you take several photos before and after you leave your apartment incase they try to charge you. Also, this place is pretty noisy - both because of neighbors and cars. Management didn't seem to care about noise by neighbors. Would not recommend at all."

"A fantastic place to live. The neighbors are kind and respectful, the building is clean. Management is friendly, welcoming, and very helpful and their offices (previously in the same building) are just down the road. The location is wonderful, allowing you to reach almost anywhere in Madison in 15 minutes or less. You can just see the capitol from the 4th floor windows. The dog deposit fee is expensive, but understandable, as you can have two dogs of any breed or size. The apartments are big enough for a larger dog, but I personally would not recommend it; big dogs need a yard to run around in, after all! Management has done a great job of putting certain measures in place due to COVID-19. Most, if not all, residents are receptive to this."

"I would not recommend this apartment building. While the apartment space itself is adequate, the building is dirty and the management doesn't seem to care/address concerns. Our apartment windows and other windows in the building collect a lot of water around them that need to be cleaned up daily or else they will mold. After returning from visiting family for the holiday (4 days away from our apartment), our windows were covered in mold from the condensation and management has yet to address this issue. Besides our window concern, the building is consistently dirty and the front door to the apartment building has issues shutting completely, leaving it accessible for anyone to enter the building. There are plenty of other apartment buildings in the nearby area that you can rent for the same price that offer a lot more amenities, more security and hopefully have more attentive management."

"I love living here! The space is gorgeous and everything is brand new. The other tenants are mostly young adult professionals, all very kind and considerate of their neighbors. The price is unbeatable! I would pay well over 1500/month for this same space if I was living downtown, or Monroe St area, or the east side! The building is extremely secure and safe- at all times. There are even several cameras located in all areas of the building. This is by far the best place I've lived in Madison, and I've lived in every trendy neighborhood in this city. The best thing about this location, is that I am so close to all of those neighborhoods. It only takes a few minutes to get to each, given the close proximity to downtown and the beltline! I plan on staying at 2500 Rimock Lofts for several more years to come-I cannot think of one single reason that would convince me to leave, as I can't imagine calling anywhere else 'home'."
