"They took a chance on me when I didn't have the best credit or much renting history. I've now lived here for 3 years going on 4. Instead of your usual madison slum lords this family actually takes care of their residents and any maintenancecalls asap. It's a great location and safe considering the cop shop is 2 driveways down! Right off Park Street at the center of madison. You can get to any side of madison within 15 to 20 minutes."

"let me tell you something about these people since i set foot in the usa i have never been treated so well as these people have been. they have been very kind to me and sometimes i had to hard to pay my rent on time but the owner's daughter Nicki gave me enough time to pay my rent. She is very understanding, very kind. Since 2018 I have been living there and I feel very good with them."

"I rented here for 6 months or so and I had an overall good experience! Nicki in the office was super helpful and easy to communicate with, and I really enjoyed the flexibility of not being tied down to a year long lease (I signed a month to month lease and lived here for about 6 months). Street parking was free and accessible, but you could get a parking permit and park in the parking lot if you want to. The only shortcoming of living at Oakridge was the roach problem. Finding bugs in any place you live is inevitable, but the swarms of roaches that would hang out in my sink if I left dirty dishes out really grossed me out. I don't necessarily mind bugs and since I only lived here temporarily, I never bothered to contact anyone about it, but I can see how it can make other people uneasy in the long run. Hoping that they can get the issue under control sometime soon!"

"I lived at Oakridge for 4 1/2 years. I was a student, a disabled veteran and had issues with my income when I got to Madison, and the staff helped me find an affordable unit. The location was great--right by the bus station to get downtown and to campus. Rumors circled of a past crime problem in the area, but there was a police station right across the street and my wife and I never had any problems. Even though the building was aging, as was everything inside the unit, the staff did its best to keep things working. For any problem I had, or even when I just wanted to shoot the breeze, I was met with a friendly and hard-working staff member. So I want to wish a heartfelt "good job!" to the family that runs this place. It was my pleasure to live there."

"Good place for new person in Madison or someone without history. Requirements are accessible and no score check needed Cat allowed for sure , dogs not allowed ( not sure), Paid laundry in the basement 25$ for parking (for 1 year) Heat is no included"
