"Oakland on Monroe was a fantastic place to live in! Susan is a great property manager and the entire Gregg Shimanski Realty group goes above and beyond for their residents. On average, my minor maintenance requests were taken care of in less than 24 hours. Furthermore, the study rooms, conference rooms, gym, grills, and complimentary coffee were always available and fantastic to use. It is also very clear that the owners of this property put a lot of thought into noise insulation. I never heard any of my neighbors despite living right next to the trash chute and the elevators. I highly recommend this apartment complex for anyone that's thinking of living in the downtown Madison area."

The bike path is right out the door — excellent for walking, running and biking. The fitness facility at Oakland on Monroe is well equipped and the large community room with outdoor patio and grill is perfect for gatherings. Our apartment is sunny and well designed with a balcony, stainless appliances and in unit washer/dryer. The complementary coffee bar is a big plus."
