"Office management changes over regularly and there is no loyalty to good residents that have been there for several years. Rent may be a reasonable price the first year, but it will increase astronomically if you want to renew your lease. The trash compactor is broken frequently so there will be a mountain of trash bags at the front of the entrance. The hallways of my building weren't always clean and residents continuously smoked which is against policy. The power goes out regularly so be prepared for no AC. Packages are typically delivered to the main office which is never organized and a headache. At the end when we moved out, we received not even 10% of the deposit we paid initially and we left the apartment cleaner than we came in (everything scrubbed, bleached, vacuumed, etc.)."

"Really the only noise I hear is if someone is in the hallway (talking loudly, running) - nothing major at all. This is impressive given how close we are to train tracks! The overall upkeep and appearance of the community is beautiful, although I was surprised to see the landscaping company coming through with lawn mowers and leaf blowers on a cold December day (seemed excessive). Security is overall good, although there have been package thefts over the past month. Not all delivery drivers are good about using their granted access to the clubhouse to deliver packages. Apparently management has notified them about this. I'm not sure if better signage reminding drivers to actually put packages inside would help. The apartments are in a prime location to Wauwatosa's village as well as downtown Milwaukee. There are plenty of community events, great schools and parks, a few bus stops, constantly improving bike lanes, and sidewalks. Maintenance has always been responsive and helpful with any concerns we have (which luckily has not been anything major). Overall, the staff seems knowledgeable and willing to look further into things they do not know right away and call us back when they have better info. They also do events in the summer and around the holidays (catered, live music, some raffles). I only wish there were more storage units and that rent didn't have to keep going up so much!"

"Im not big fan of gated communities. However this a very nice place to live. The architecture ia beautiful. Just down the road is a park to run, jog, or walk the dog. Also just down the road is Metro Market, Metcalf's, Walgreens, UPS, Out Post, and a number of other retail accommodations. Yes there are train tracks in front (South entrance) but I doubt anyone can hear that indoors. What's inside the Reserve you'll have to find out for your self; so come check it out."
