"I lived at Element 84 for one year, and absolutely loved it. The only reason I moved is because I am getting married, and my fiancé already owns a place. :) Whether you are a young professional or an empty nester, I definitely recommend it. It's beautiful, clean, quiet, and has very nice staff on site. If I ever had any maintenance concerns (which were minor), they were addressed quickly. Element 84 has a lot of perks that I haven't seen at other apartments of comparable size/quality, especially those on the east side of Milwaukee that rent for up to twice the price. If you are torn between Element 84 and a place on the east side, you won't regret going with Element 84. The pool, the Amazon delivery lockers, the dog park, gorgeous + spacious clubhouse, the free surface lot (for which finding a parking spot was never a problem), and occasional planned social events are just some of the things I will miss about living there. Also, they did a very nice job of securing our parking while State Fair was going on a few blocks away. The only minor drawback I can think of was the size of the elevators while moving in/out -- just a bit on the small side, in case you have a very large couch to move like I did -- but it was manageable. Thank you to Anthony and the rest of the staff for the lovely living experience!"
"I have lived here a few months and it is probably my FAVORITE apartment complex of ALL TIME! I’ve lived a ton of places in my 45 years! I just like it sooo much! It has a cozy feel…a variety of nice people…nothing is too much or too little but it is quite classy, well made, brand new and extremely clean and well kept. I’ve had to call maintenance twice in just 3 months and they fixed it before I could turn my head! Management and maintenance really make this place! And the cozy feel and excellent beautiful amenities !!!"
"Just moved out of Element 84 after a two year residency. Overall, my review is positive. Quality The buildings are new, built in 2019-2020 and the construction is pretty good. No issues with cheap materials breaking including cabinets, appliances, etc. I will say the sound proofing seems to be pretty great. I never had issues with noise other than outside noise from cars, garbage trucks or music in the courtyard. However, we did have a 4th floor corner unit and were pretty protected from adjacent apartments. The apartment is also a smoke free property which is great. Value For the price, you cannot find a better value for your money in Milwaukee. West Allis apartments are still priced below the Milwaukee market as a whole which makes them a steal given they are new construction. West Allis is very up and coming. Lots of great new restaurants and bars. Its definitely not a dull place to live anymore. Prices in West Allis are also cheaper at bars. You will save a ton of money living here compared to downtown, Bayview, eastside. Amenities Great pool, cabanas, grills, gym, community room with free coffee, conference center, dog washing areas. Free wifi which works now. When the buildings opened, the wifi was pretty useless. There is an adjacent dog park. Staff Overall, the staff does an okay job. They are very responsive to maintenance requests which is the most important. They are friendly and welcoming and generally I did not have any real issues with them. Residents There is a great variety of people of all ages including retirees, families, young professionals and students. The property is also pet friendly. Location Fantastic location. So many bars and restaurants within walking distance. We loved JCs. Everything is a 5-10 minute drive. Hank Aaron trail close by! Downsides -Element 84 rents or did rent out apartments to a local college. These residents seemed to be the most problematic. Very noisy and generally not respectful for other residents right to peace and quiet. You cant blame them because they are college students, but I think Element 84 needs to decide if a college dorm is really the vibe they are going for. Its definitely a determinant for those that are older. However, it was nice to party with these guys at the pool every once and awhile. -While a pet friendly campus is great for many, the animals really are hard on the infrastructure. The grass is dead in many areas. Many people don't pick up after their pets including when they defecate or urinate in the buildings. This was a constant issue in the elevators. Pretty disgusting. I think the opening of the dog park next door has helped, but there are definitely a lot of residents who are not fit to have animals. -People do not abide by the smoke free rules. It smells like marijuana often. Management threatens eviction if you are caught but you can tell people just don't care. The property has tons of cigarette buds all over the place. -The amenities are great, so great that some residents will invite their entire extended family over to the pool or clubhouse. It gets very busy at the pool most days which is unfair to actual residents. Management did impose a two guest limit but it doesn't seem like it gets enforced. Also, people don't respect the rules for the pool. People are constantly brining glass into the pool area and getting quite intoxicated and blasting music. I think this is generally the guests that are being belligerent. -I am pretty sure a drug dealer lived at Element 84 at one point. I often ran into strange characters in the courtyards and hallways who were under the influence of some sort of substance and confirmed that they were picking up drugs from their dealer and loved how nice of a place Element was. Not sure if this person still lives here or not. I had not seem as many shady characters in the last few months. I would definitely live in Element 84 again. However, I am ready to be back downtown in a more quiet higher-end apartment building. However, I am going to spending twice what I spent to live at Element 84."
"Overall, Element 84 was a great place to live! All of the staff is super friendly and helpful. If you have a dog, this is definitely the place for you because of all the dog friendly events they have. Maintenance always has issues resolved in a timely manner and always tries to accommodate your schedule. As with everywhere there are a few minor downsides. Even with white noise going, you can hear your upstairs neighbor so I recommend living on the top floor. The halls sometimes smell very strongly of weed but management was working on solving that when I lived there. There’s no fenced in dog run even though when I signed my lease I was told there would be one being put in July ‘20. Overall the positives of Element 84 way outweigh any of the negatives."
"Throughout the process of having a tour to the move in date to now I would have to say this is the best experience I have had with apartment leasing staff. Sandra was a big help, being able to find a great time and date for our tour while also answering our millions of questions. When we moved in she called and checked in to make sure everything was going smooth. And having been a month since we moved in nothing has changed they have all been a big help and I’m super happy to be able to live here. The major plus side is they are more attentive towards tenants and they have more thing to help with especially with the pandemic going on. I would a hundred time recommend them, I already have a few times"
