"Maintenance would come in a timely manner after submitting a work order. Location is perfect. Not too close to the Dells but also near downtown Baraboo. Apartment was neat, not run down and was very quiet. Not once did I ever hear excessive noise from roommates or the people above me."

"The Villas was one of the worst experiences I've had. I was a resident for August 2020- May 2021 and August 2021- May 2022. The landlord, Emily, seems friendly when you meet her but she will be passive aggressive and act like everything that goes wrong is a personal attack on her. First off this is NOT student only housing if that's what you were thinking. They only have the interest of money and not a way for students to have an easy introduction to college with other students; the students only occupy the bottom floor. Something else that happened MANY times while in my time there was how my privacy was invaded in multiple ways, I would sometimes wake up with random people in my own personal bedroom because they'd be occupied with their phone or just plain wouldn't read the numbers clearly displayed on the door,I mentioned this to the building manager and nothing was done when I was assured that something would be done. This also happened multiple times when putting in maintenance requests the handyman would not notify when he would stop by and would just randomly complete the maintenance request even if there was nobody in the apartament. I also had packages stolen multiple times because they were displayed in the open for anyone to grab. More recently I ordered a $300 microphone out of my own fault. I accidently ordered it from the villas. I was texting back and forth with the building manager so that I could recover. This was about a 3-4 day ordeal during that time I exhausted options and settled to drive out there and get it myself but on the morning I was going to drive there the building manager had informed me that my package was missing. I was distraught as I knew that someone I knew had not grabbed it. It eventually was returned but the package was torn to shreds. After the recovery I felt petty and I left the box that was torn to shreds, painting myself in a bad light here obviously. The next day the building manager texts me and tells me it was rude after everything she did to retrieve the package. My knowledge and messages that I have show that she made almost no effort in retrieving it, only sending out an email to the people who possibly took it. I was then berated with 3-4 phone calls of which I did not pick up. After I did not pick up she settled for calling my father unfortunately I do not know exactly what was said my father did want to mention that she did say "He should not speak to a woman like that". I angrily texted her after finding out she called my dad only to find out she blocked my number. Another thing I noticed was that it seemed the building manager had a romantic-ish relationship with one of the residents. I would often find them together almost all the time being very close and sometimes even talking dirty to one another there were also multiple occasions I saw them kissing. "One of the most welcoming and comfortable living for students. I lived here for 2 years and always felt safe. Emily and Vito are professional, welcoming, and they organize events to make you feel more at home. I recommend this apartment 100%!"

"The Villas at Baraboo!! OMG! This place is phenomenal. The management is patient, understanding, concerned for your well-being, and willing to help you have an enjoyable stay. There is a community room, laundry room, a gym and several outdoor activities. The apartments are extremely clean and it is very quiet here. If you're looking for an Orderapartment complex to move into this is the best that you can find. The rates are extremely reasonable and if there isn't something in your apartment that you need Emily will do her best to make sure that you have it and if not then she'll direct you to where you can find it. She is a very sweet good nature person willing to give you the shirt off her back to help you have a good day so for those of you coming to the University at Baraboo welcome and have a great experience!"
