Skillet Creek Campground

"What a great campground! It's a short bike ride to the north shore of Devil's Lake State Park. Short bike ride or walk to Tumbled Rocks brewery as well. Nice store at the campground with nice merch. Campsites are nice and clean. They just added a bunch more sites with full hook ups for folks with campers. The tent sites are great and right on Skillet Creek with plenty of shade. Decent playground for the kids. Owners are very friendly. They had an early Halloween party theme with trick or treating and even adult beverages. There is a nice swimming pond with an inflatable slide and raft in the middle you can swim to and jump off. Overall I highly recommend this campground, the location is great. You're close to Wisconsin Dells and very close to Baraboo. Groceries are close by etc..."

"If I could give them 10 stars I would. This was absolutely such a wonderful camping experience for my family especially my kiddos. We stayed in a primitive site. I saw the owner personally cleaning the bathrooms twice in one day. They are amazing. The fun activities that they do on the weekends like the movie night, glow parade, etc. Just so awesome. I don't know what to say. Close enough just a short drive to Devil's lake. We had a beautiful weekend! The primitive site were close to each other but woodsy in-between so it feels like a woodsy camping experience. The bathrooms were so nice and clean! My kids favorite parts were the game room, playground, glow parade, and swimming pond. We were so busy having fun that I hardly had time to take pictures."

"I stayed at Skillet Creek 9/8-10 2023. I had a large group of 17 people and we all had a fantastic time. The bathrooms were above our expectations and cleaned daily. The campsites were spacious and somewhat private. I had a great experience with the staff who were all helpful and accommodating even after switching my reservation more than once. I will definitely be looking forward to returning."

"Our family stayed here in cabin 3 this week, and we had a great time. The cabin was very nice, and the service of the owners and workers is great also. Our kids swam in the new swimming pond several times a day, and we thoroughly enjoyed the slide and raft in the pond. Obviously their location is great also, being 2 miles from the state park is nice. We are looking forward to coming back. Very nice place to camp or glamp :)"

"We camp twice a year and this campground was awesome! The swim pond was clean and perfect for the kids and adults! The owner was kind, responsive, and always working to keep the grounds clean! Our site, was wooded right near the creek and just what we were looking for! The kids activities were fun for all ages! I highly recommend skillet creek and just a mile away from Devils Lake!"
