"I am so happy and grateful I choose this beauty college. Mr Jim Huynh is the GOAT (greatest of all time). He made sure I learned and understood everything from preparing for the state exams to being able to do a fantastic full acrylic sets. What makes going to school best is his passion and willingness to teach his students. I’m always looking forward to his instructing days. He will walk around and engage with his students. He listens to his students concern and tries his best to solve it. I came to school only knowing how to do gel only as I’ve been doing press on for a while. But Mr. Jim taught me how to do a manicure, pedicure, gel, dip systems, and acrylic. The whole thing! And within those services, he taught me how to use the nipper, how to hold and polish, how to use an E-File and hand file, how to shape the nails, how to glue on tips, how to troubleshoot real life problems with an enhancement nail (a crack, chip, and lifting in acrylic) and more. He is very much aware that every students are different and go at a different pace. He will push you a little further each day as he see fits but he won’t force you to do it if you told him you are not ready. We also have other instructors that are very passionate on helping us improve our skills. Ms. Hami is amazing and the sweetest lady. She, same as Mr. Jim, will make sure to help you all the way and are so supportive. I’ve done my research before attending beauty school and was preparing that it’s all book and that they’ll only teach you to pass the state exams.I was wrong. I was pleasantly surprised that the instructors will teach you how to do all the services in the nail industry. They have a little salon up front in the lobby that they take walk-ins. Students gets to work on real client with the instructor supervision. I have no regrets in attending My-Le’s beauty school. I am so grateful for the opportunity and supports I get from the instructors Mr. Jim and Ms. Hami are amazing. I am 100% confident that because of them I will become an amazing nail technician after passing my state exam. I appreciate their willingness to teach and all the friends I made in class. "Definitely recommend the school if you need something flexible to work with your schedule. My advice to anybody entering the beauty industry is that school is there for you to learn the basics and just a step to get your license, perfecting your craft and furthering your career is going to be completely on you. Only thing I probably would have liked is more structure in the classroom and more demos from instructors. Other than that the school got the job done, took my state board test today and passed on the first try. It was a long road for me personally but I did it!"

"I was a transfer student from another beauty school. I completed my program here. Let me just say that I had the best experience here. They are more well organized and prepare their instructors. Especially in the esthetics program Ms.Lee and everyone else are exceptional teachers. They’re so patient and kind. They accept all people of colors and backgrounds and do not discriminate. They seriously make sure that you learn something here. It’s very cheap for the programs here compared to other places. I’m sad I’m Graduating and I can’t be with my classmates and teachers anymore! Since this is a very small school compared to other places you will not fall through the cracks all staff are very on top of everything and remember everyone’s names and their needs!
