"Not going to lie, after reading a couple of the reviews I was a little concerned. But I think in regards to Dr. Durkins bedside manner, you get what you give. I’m a generally positive and smiley person, and she seemed to give that right back. I’m sure if you were less social/polite, she would give that back too. She was very good at explaining the reasoning for everything that was going on. Everyone from check in to check out was polite and friendly!"

"TLDR: Excellent technical skill, leading edge technique, horrible bedside manner Here after referring a friend and he found the bad reviews. I 100% agree Dr. Durkin's bedside manner isn't the best (although she did a wonderful job of describing the procedure), however she's a wonderful surgeon. I had a polypectomy​ and she widened my sinus cavities a year ago. I did my research beforehand on her technique, and she's definitely on the leading edge of the field. She managed to do my surgery with no packing after I woke up; alleviating the number one complaint people have for this surgery. Given the surgery is something I'll live with for the rest of my life, but I only speak to her 4 or 5 times, I'm appreciative of her technical skill over bedside manner."
