"My husband saw Dr. Leon because he was filling in for PA O'brien. He was arrogant and thought if my husband had a hip replacement, it would cure his broken back from 1974.He said my husband's time was up and never discussed any of his health issues that are normally talked about during a physical. Don't recommend him at all. Very condescending. Veterans deserve better."
"While it's a little hard for me to get to especially during the road construction season the clinic is about as accessable as anything else is in Madison. In July the VA is opening up a clinic on the east side of Madison not far from Sun Prairie where I reside. That should make it a good deal easier for me."
"The "doctor" A.Bashir should not be treating veterans. This lady does not care about your health or time. Avoid at all costs."
"It regularly takes 20 minutes or more and at least two phone calls to schedule a routine appointment. The dr.s forget to put in for referrals. Care is generally sub par and 3rd world by unfriendly and incompetent people who pass you around and make you feel unvalued."
"Every time I want to schedule an appointment it's the same thing: Automated system that wants to make sure to ask me to call 911 if it's an emergency or press 7 if I'm suicidal. At least 3 or 4 times as I get transferred, follow a couple prompts, etc. Finally transferred to the right line? I don't know, I'm immediately placed on hold and it's a 10-second loop of an annoying xylophone or something that loops for 3-5 minutes before I get transferred again. I start to understand why they have to keep asking if we are suicidal. I wait patiently, blood pressure surging as I suppress the urge to throw my phone at the wall. FINALLY I get to talk to a real person. Aaaand guess what? The hold had timed out and I have been routed to an operator who cannot actually help me and instead transfers me back to the West Clinic. But at least they thank me for my service, maybe that will address my healthcare needs. And the whole process starts over... After 2 or 3 cycles of this (~15 minutes), I give up. This problem never existed when I went to the main hospital for primary care. Edit: interesting/curious that all the 5 star reviews I see do not actually include a review."
