"I've attended and enjoyed many performances at Hamel, both in the Mead Witter Foundation Concert Hall and the smaller Collins Recital Hall. Being right on University Avenue, I was worried about noise but the music center is remarkably sound insulated. Mead Witter is filled with circles upon circles, while Collins reminds me of being outside with wood everywhere. The center is a great addition to the performance halls in the Mosse Humanities Bldg and the beautiful but small Music Hall."
