"Beautiful. The Columbus Tower was nearing completion in 1907 when the San Francisco Earthquake hit. It was one of the few buildings to survive. This amazing building is immediately recognizable. Columbus Tower was owned by the 60's band the Kingston Trio and is now owned by Francis Ford Coppola, who offices here. A favorite view is from Pacific and Columbus so you can contrast the Columbus tower and the Transamerica Pyramid. See the photo."
