"VERY DODGY!!! Made a Monday appointment for a couch-cleaning, which was cancelled at last minute (Driver/tech was reportedly in "an accident"), and appointment was rescheduled for Thursday. 15 minutes later, we were called back, and told they were sending someone else to do the job, at the originally scheduled time. 2 men arrived, wearing shirts that said only "Carpet Care", stated the price would be $100 more than we we were originally quoted, and we haggled them down $50. They did the entire "job" in about 10 minutes, and (in extremely limited English) they then informed us that there would be a $30 surcharge to pay with a credit card, and would only accept cash or check, NONE of which was ever mentioned in setting up the appointment. We had to pay by check. NO receipt or invoice, not even a business card?!?! The fact that their listed location online (Google Maps) shows their address as a working self-serve gas station, and their phone number comes up as a trucking and freight firm over 50 miles away, now raises further questions. After they left, we called N&X back. They seem to have NO idea who these people were, and said they were looking into it. So is the Better Business Bureau. Meanwhile, the check was cancelled before it could be cashed... LOL"
