"Poor customer service from Liham, Pam, and Bushra. All I needed were some copies for taxes purposes and they wanted to charge a ridiculous amount per page for statements. I don’t mind paying for copies, but $3 a statement page is ridiculous. This office has an issue with customer service, from the top all the way down. I called the phone center asking for help and they said the branch would take care of me to go ahead and go back in. Mind you this is after they talked to the branch. Then when I went back in the assistant manager Pam said she can’t be forced to adjust fees by the phone center, and she refused to help as the phone center had already said they would. Unbelievable! I had to call the phone center a second time, at this point it’s the principal in having customers jump through hoops. This branch is completely unwilling to provide a good customer experience. I would have been more than happy to pay a reasonable amount for copies. If Mission Federal wants to keep long lasting customers, they should probably retrain this branch staff in customer service. The phone center has always been excellent and so has the La Mesa Branch. This is the only office that’s seems to always be problematic. My Mom had a bad customer service experience here recently when someone had stolen her wallet and she had to go in to the branch. There seems to be a problem when anything is needed out of the norm and the manager(s) are unwilling to help. We ended up calling the phone center and they helped with what they could over the phone, then set us an appointment at a different branch, La Mesa to finish off closing my Mom’s account and opening a new one. Again, we had to jump through hoops to get help and ultimately we had to go to another branch. It’s unfortunate because this is the closest branch for us."
