"My boyfriend has been cashing checks here for years and today we wanted to go cash this check they were unable to verify by talking to the company since they were on the East Coast. However they wouldn't cash the check even though he had to check cashing history there and has had numerous checks cash there but we went across the street to the checks cash 1% and they did it in 5 minutes and not only that but they charged a lot less than Money Tree was going to charge as well so somehow they were able to verify it but Money Tree was not just goes to show you that they really don't care about their customers and they really don't make the effort to try to get your items cashed. If they have to go out of their way to do anything it's not happening. Steer clear of this place and go to the one across the street they'll cash your checks quicker and for less money"

"The manager at this branch who’s name is Danielle was extremely rude to me after I showed frustration with their service, and rightfully so, she was extremely bias I felt and treated me indifferently due to my appearance and tattoos, after refusing to contact customer service so she could verify my check. I contacted customer service so she could verify my check after I went through the trouble of doing all of the verification myself she spoke with the customer service at my bank and still denied me after verifying information. I have never had issues with the money tree and have been a customer for years. I highly recommend the money tree in San Diego. And strongly advise against this one terrible customer service."
