"02/12/18 I had went in to donate books as I was in the office along with Mrs Rachael and her class. I noticed she had wacked a kid that had to be 5 or 6 with rolled up papers. Yea it was papers but no body specially a teacher should do that it was very unprofessional and wrong of her. Even if it didn't hurt just shows she don't have patience for the kid. I will be calling the school board no kid should ever be slapped touched or hit by a teacher."

"Extremely unorganized in both structure and administration. I can never get anyone on the phone and they don't even have an answering machine. If you have a job, you might as well forget about getting in touch with a human being."

"Since the first day of school, Tahoe Elementary has been nothing more than organized chaos, if that. No one could tell us where to go, what to do, and so forth. I ended up walking my daughter to her classroom myself and doing introductions between her and the teacher. They had her information wrong- listed as a little boy. When she had an accident on the jungle gym and sustained some minor injuries, they used the old emergency card contact numbers to attempt to reach us (which were no longer in use) and then simply gave up when they didn't reach anyone. When asked why we weren't contacted, I was told the above story and that they hadn't updated their computer files with the new school year's emergency cards and no one thought or took the time to physically check the hard copies to see if our information had changed. On the eve of the Winter Performance, not one staff member could tell me where my child or the after school program was moved to for that night. Another student had to inform us which was followed by a staff member leaving my newborn and I LOCKED in a corridor until another staff member found me, crying in said hallway. We have suffered through many, many other situations and incidents in these past 7 months of school but there is just not enough space to explain them all. This school has serious administrative, organizational and communication issues and a much worse "bedside manner" to boot. If you can avoid sending your child here, DO IT!!"
