"HORRIBLE SERVICE! What an inadequate group of people, I had to come in to their office to pay my account CASH since they never received my check, I told them to wait a couple of days and they wouldn't, they said they needed the payment THAT day, I spoke to about three different people that all said they would note in my account NOT to cash the check and what happens two days later? THEY CASHED MY CHECK. Had they waited ONE more day everything would have been fine but they just COULDN'T. I called them and told them i needed that money back in my account since I had ALREADY paid them cash three days prior and they refused to give me my money back. I don't know why they tell people that there's notes in their account when that's absolutely not true. What a joke of a company, I will be refinancing my car ASAP with someone else so I do not have to deal with them anymore they are just a bunch of inadequate workers who do not know how to do their job."
"I have been reading the comments on this company and they are accurate. These people are rude and unprofessional. I understand that there are people in the world that skip out on payments or lie about their situation but these females straight up start using accusatory language as if you intentionally didnt pay your bill. My payment was lost in the mail and the rep called me BEFORE checking the mail to verify if it was there. When this company tanks, just know that it may be attributed to the poor service they give you. All I can say is thanks for giving me a loan when my credit was bad, as this helped me raise my credit score however your reps need better training."
"I am right there with everyone else on these reviews. I have had my loan with them for coming up on 4 years. They, are, a, nightmare. You can pay all of your payments on time, be communicative, etc. - they, do not, give, a damn. Excuse my language. I mean never in my life have I experienced such careless, heartless, & downright disrespectful customer service. Everyone else is right when they say that A-L Financial employees literally harass you. I mean it is to the point that I think we could all party up & sue. It is BAD. I had to block all of their numbers because God forbid I western union my payment in a couple days after the official due date - they're calling threatening with collections, repossessions, etc. I am a disabled veteran, my kids & I have been fleeing domestic violence periodically; there was a month or two where I was just behind & trying to get caught up financially. They did not care. There is ZERO leeway with these people, & I mean ZERO. There are NO exceptions with them; they don't care what kind of a situation or tragedy arises. Anna is my latest rep & she is horrid; rude, disrespectful, & hateful. My advice to those who don't currently have a loan through A-L - DON'T get one unless they are your ONLY option. & if you DO have to, or you already currently have one, do NOT answer their calls. If you answer, they will threaten you, & give you an impossible deadline/ultimatum. If you don't answer or speak with them, they are literally, & I mean literally powerless. Their lack of online payments is definitely a major drawback, as well as an inconvenience & extra $25 per month to you, due to having to pay via Western Union. NOT OKAY. ZERO STARS!!!"
"This finance co. is not that bad. I assume they are dealing with incredibly irresponsible people daily and that may be the cause of their upset attitudes, but that is understandable. Other wise I feel they have helped me when I have inquiries with my account. I always call to make sure they received my payment in the mail. If I do not receive my slip on time to mail off back to them with my payment, I call and confirm with their management that I am sending my payment anyways so that I am not late on my bill, I usually type a letter with who I spoke with and what time. It would be AMAZING if they offered online service to prevent delays in payments."
