Reviews
"Dr. Horak and the Shell Lake Northern Lakes Veterinary Clinic staff showed extreme kindness and compassion as we had to make the difficult decision to let our dog Diva go. Thank you the kindness you showed us."
"Spay went really well. Kind people, and clean hospital. Dolly seems to be healing perfectly."
"Went to have our old sick dog euthanized (by appointment) and was turned away because we couldn't afford the $350.00 up front. (Before seeing the vet) Taking our business elsewhere!!"
"We took our 6-week old English Cocker Spaniel to this clinic for the first set of shots. The Vet Tech dragged her using a clinic choke leash into the clinic while the vulnerable puppy screamed. I instructed the Vet Tech to carry her instead. After the Vet Tech returned with our puppy she was shivering really scared. We have spent hundreds of hours since then trying to reassure her around other dogs and people. Since that time our dog has had a permanent fear of people and other dogs which has caused severe disruption to her life and others around her. Breading stock for the dog was from grand champion English Cockers, unfortunately, we will never be able to breed her. This is the first time any of our English Cockers have had a temperament problem."
"We received top quality care for our Abbey for 9 years. So much compassion was given to her and to us along with the ultimate in care to provide her quality of life until the very end. We can't thank them enough for helping us with Abbey's health and anxiety issues. If we ever get another dog, we will certainly use them again."
