"Today was trash day in Duluth, MN, overloaded with styrofoam packing. Driver rearranged wedged product in container, then added pieces too big for container. Finally, driver was happy with empty container and all oversized product removed. That was 7:40 this morning in the East Hillside of Duluth."

"Being new customers, we had missed our garbage pickup not knowing how early the pickup was. I called, talked to a customer service rep and she did a courtesy pickup for us by dispatching the driver to come back for our garbage. The driver was very friendly and we appreciated him coming back. We have been extremely satisfied with WM!!"

"We don’t like Friday pickup! Wednesday was a great day for us! We like to take long weekends away and just don’t like having to put the garbage out early. Wind, rain, snow plows! Also, last winter there were like 3 weeks when garbage wasn’t picked up due to weather! We never received any credits for that but the minute we put in extra we get charged for it!"

"Customer service is among the least informed or helpful of any company I've ever worked with. It's like they don't even work for WM. Expect lots of "I understand your concerns..." and "I'm happy to help you do that..." but very little in the way of results. Trash service itself is about 90 percent consistent. Good luck trying to resolve the other 10 percent."

"All in all, WM has done a good job over the years. Every once in a while I have a problem where my recycling is not picked up and have to fight with customer service to get a credit, but those incidents are few and far between. My only complaint is that I am forced to have both garbage and recycling which costs me over $60 and customer service tells me that I am required to have both services."
