"I rented a U haul car tow dolly for 1 day to move a vehicle in town. Returned it on a Saturday afternoon after the store had closed, less than a day from rental previous day. Checking my credit card balance a few days later I was shocked to see an additional 2 weeks of rental charges had been posted, nearly $800 extra. I went into the store and confronted the manager (Mike) that had originally rented me the tow dolly, he told me to leave and deal with U haul. U haul refunded the money after a few phone calls explaining the situation and sending a phone photo with date and time stamp of unhitched dolly in store parking lot. This place is a dishonest overpriced rat hole of a business, your credit card info is not safe here. There are plenty of other ethical businesses to buy furniture or rent U haul equipment. Will never visit this store again."

"I started working with ez own about two years ago I originally thought the manager was great he went above and beyond to satisfy you as a customer. At about 2 months after getting my couch set I needed a warranty replacement which is hell trying to get that approved. Then I received the warranty replacement frame to the couch and it was broken but it was "brand new" they just ignored my requests for another warranty replacement . 6-8 months in they started getting a revolving door of employees until recently. The new managers name is Justin. He came to the store afew months ago where I decided to up my loan and got some other items he has repeatedly argued with me about conditions of items and how apparently everthing on the floor in perfect condition which isn't true my couch has a whole in it any other items I have bought or tried to buy come off the floor with " manufacture defects" not to mention the delivery guys are so unprofessional that one asked to use my hygiene product another made jabs that I'm on ssi. I left the store so upset and fed up I ended up calling steve the owner who answered and was so unbelievably rude to me on the phone that I hung up i felt so helpless and disrespected I have never been late on my payment or missed or nothing i will never recommend grand ave Duluth mb Steve owned ez own to anyone I have since cut ties I'm ready to move on to a company who appreciates my bussiness."
