CVS Pharmacy

"I got a text that the pharmacy had received my prescription and were working on it, and that I would get a text when it was ready. A week went by and I heard nothing. Finally decided to call today, because I had just taken my last dose, only for them to tell me they couldn’t fill it. I asked why they couldn’t fill it (because they didn’t offer an explanation), and they informed me it was because the medication was out of stock and they didn’t know when they would get more. So why wouldn’t you let your customer know that their medication is out of stock? Like… were you going to just let my refill request sit there forever without informing me it couldn’t be filled? If you can’t fill someone’s prescription because you don’t have it in stock, you really should inform them so they can get it filled somewhere else. These are people’s needed medications we’re talking about here… it’s not like we’re waiting for a particular color of a sweater we like a lot. I understand not wanting to lose business, but medications aren’t something you should be gatekeeping if you know you don’t have what you need to fill it. You have no idea how a person could struggle without their medication and you’re just not communicating at all when you’re unable to fulfill a request. We have to call in and wonder what’s going on days and days later. So now, I have to go back to my Dr. and ask them to send the script to a different pharmacy (because apparently they can’t just send it somewhere else) and hope that they have it in stock and can fill it and I will definitely have to be without my meds for a couple days while that happens. Do better for your patrons, CVS."

"5 for the pharmacist and 0 for one of the techs. If it were not for one of the pharmacist that gave me my vaccinations I would give this place a zero because one of the blonde techs does not appear to really want to come to the window to help people. She seems to be more interested in chatting a long time about non-pharmaceutical conversations and not helping the other customers. I was in the vaccination line to sign up and she put two people ahead of me that should not have been. For good service, go to the CVS on Dove trail in Apple Valley."

"Do you like waiting for long periods of time? Being ignored by pharmacy staff? Spoken to rudely? This is the pharmacy for you! I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they really do live up to every negative review. I switched to another as of today because I refuse to be treated poorly and ignored."

"One of the worst pharmacies I have ever dealt with. Based on other reviews, this is not an isolated case either. The personnel at this pharmacy make an effort to be rude. The pharmacy assistant proceeded to walk away as I was speaking to her, and the pharmacist from the back of the room started yelling. I told her that I was not speaking to her but to her aid, and that she was rude. Very unhelpful people who obviously hate what they're doing and are there to let everyone know."
