"Pete restored my mother’s Hope chest. When I saw the finished product it brought tears to my eyes! It’s beautiful! I am so thankful for Pete’s vision and talent!"
"Pete was very helpful and interested in refinishing and repairing my husbands grandmother's book case. The leaded glass was loose, the door popped open, the leg was broken off and it was out of alignment. He skillfully repaired and refinished it to our satisfaction. He secured the glass and added knobs to open the doors safely. We are very please with the result and it is now a sturdy beautiful addition to my husband's office. He was timely and we thank him immensely for his professional work."
"I purchased this Eastlake Dresser over 30 years ago and always felt it needed some loving care. I decided to call Pete at Family Heirloom Restoration to see if he could work some magic, I’m so glad I did. I couldn’t be happier with the results. It was falling apart structurally and I wanted so much to save it. I will definitely bring future projects to him. Thanks again Pete for a job well done."
"I was looking for someone to help restore my Grandpa's Milwaukee Transit Farebox. It had cracked glass, was rusted, the letters were all worn away, along with other issues. I wasn't sure who would be able to tackle a project like this or even if it was possible. And then I found Pete and his Heirloom shop. Pete took a great interest in my Grandpa's story and I could sense his excitement to restore something unique that has a special history for our family. When I left it with Pete I had a huge sense of relief because he was absolutely perfect and I felt like my Grandpa led me to him. Over a couple months I think Pete worked harder on this than I ever expected. I know he made countless phone calls to different contacts to explore all the possibilities in this restoration. He sent me frequent picture updates and called me to go over different options. He felt like it was taking too long but I was just appreciative that he cared and was taking the time to do this for us. I am not often impressed like I was with my experience with Pete. I would absolutely use him if you have something special in your family and struggle with the thought of leaving it with someone else. He is in this for all the right reasons and I'm glad I met him. Thank you Pete. My 8 year old son is already using this for change in our living room and is asking about stories from his Great Grandpa."
