"Beware.. the owners post items on Facebook marketplace. In my experience, the owner accepted my offer to buy a piece of furniture. We arranged a time for my husband and I to pick up the item. The owner did ask if i wanted to pre pay for the item. I told her we would pay when we picked up. she never once indicated that she needed money as a hold or deposit. My husband and i drove 30 minutes out of our way and upon arrival, she told us she sold the item. Poor communication and not the most ethical way to handle a business."
