"This apartment complex has been amazing! It has a very nice quaint ambiance and is in an amazing location in Thousand Oaks! The staff has been very helpful and goes above and beyond in all aspects. We looked and looked for a good fit at many different locations/apartments and are so happy that we ended up here!"
"My wife and I have lived at YOLO for over 2 years now and have really enjoyed our experience. We were the first tenants to live in a 3rd floor unit. The brand new luxury apartments include vinyl plank hardwood flooring, wood stained cabinets, quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliance package, contemporary bathroom vanities, in-unit washer and dryer, and an expansive private balcony and open kitchen. Our neighbors are super friendly and we even got together for a Christmas party. The community is pet friendly, we have 2 small French bulldogs and there is dog patch area to take them outside. If we have any maintenance issues they are addressed with a quick turnaround time. Most of the tenants seem to be working professionals and its quiet overall with the occasional skateboarder. The landscapers stay on top of keeping the property nice. We were looking for a bigger place to move into for a while and were thrilled when we found these boutique style units. I don’t know of a nicer place to rent in the Thousand Oaks area."
"We loved living here. We loved our apartment. We would have stayed if not for unexpected circumstances. We were looking for months and nothing really compared in the area. New and modern, an open/smart floor plan, a lot of cabinets and storage space. Close to a lot of good food spots. We had a great group of neighbors who became good friends. We looked out for each other and even shared parking spaces when someone was out of town. For a new build, there were only a couple of fixes that were eventually worked out. We had good communication with the management and they were responsive with any issues or concerns. I especially loved Imelda, she is kind and always helpful. She'd even love on my little dog when she came by. We had a great relationship. We already miss our apartment and our little community at yolo. It's a great place to live."
"When I first moved to California it was pretty tough but the property manager, Imelda was so kind to my father and I. My father and I have enjoyed living her, he is 89 and found some his way around town and to the senior center. The apartment is very close to all his needs. I am on the opposite end and have met some great people here. I like that it is quiet and everyone I have met is really friendly. There was a few issues with the parking and Air Condition units, I know I got frustrated. However, they did stick to it and find the solution and now everything works great. My bills are low cause of the instant hot water/water-less tank, I feel safe and secure and I love the kitchen. If you haven't seen them take a look. I feel very safe and peaceful at Yolo. I swear that name makes me laugh every time I say it but hey if the name can make you smile so will the property."
"Nice apartments but the parking for the place is ridiculous. If you were having guests over for a get together I can't imagine where they would park. I guess you could have them park in the other townhouse complex and have them worry about getting towed, or on Thousand Oaks Blvd. Some of the units patios are 10 feet away from the townhomes balconies. You would think they would have given everyone 2 parking spots and would have 20 to 30 guest spots. As is, ~ 70 spots for 36 units. Two cars per apartment (how else would a family afford that price). You do the math"
