Summer Place Apartments

"Horrible "management" Pam is ridiculous. unprofessional, rude, nosey and miserable hateful wretch. She gave away my parking spot without my knowledge, I asked her why and her exact words were "you don't use it you lose it." Wth? I work long hours at a hospital and sometimes wouldn't come home, so she thought it was ok to give away MY ONLY parking spot and never give it back. My refrigerator leaked and she never fixed it and blamed me for it. She would harass my sister and brother-in-law every time she saw them visiting me. She would tell my mother I had "lots of men" over my house (I'm 35 and single) all my male family members were all these "alleged men" She made my 2 yrs living there uncomfortable due to her psychotic mood swings and unstable personality (she has an alcohol problem) so that definitely amplifies it. I could give zero stars I would, that woman is an unhinged petulant child.l DO NOT MOVE HERE!!"

"Thank you for smoking! The apartments here are advertised as smoke free, but they are not exactly smoke free. So if you are a smoker, whatever your substance, this place is for you. This complex has a nice layout, trees, landscape, shaded parking, nice pool area, and attentive management. Each unit is attractive and has its own terrace--- for your smoking pleasure. Never mind that your second-hand smoke may bother other tenants. You have the rights at this place. Depending how lucky you are with your unit location, drifting cigarette smoke, marijuana smells will enter your space whether you want them there or not---day or night. It creeps into the adjoining apartments no matter what. Even if you keep your windows closed at all times, which most of the tenants here do anyway, and run that air conditioner. If you want cool evening air to flow in from outdoors, it will soon be tainted with someone’s exhaled smoke. So enjoy…it’s great!!! Otherwise, this place would be ideal for living."

"Happy to be a tenant at Summer Place. Pam the manager runs a tight ship, which is really a good thing. Really puts an effort to keep our little community clean and safe. She is getting a bit up there in age but as a whole I feel she does a great job. Landscaping in spring and summer are just beautiful."

"I lived here for 3 years and everything people are saying about, Pam, the manager is true. When we called to ask about our deposit and any returns we were told by Pam that there was no money left of the $1350. We asked what she spent the money on and for an itemized statement and she got upset and said she didn't need to provide that unless she evicted us, which is not true. By law she had 21 days to send us the deposit back or a statement showing what she used the money for. We are going to be taking Summer place and the owner to small claims court. I had my car stolen from this place and a catalytic converter. Pam put up cameras (so we thought), but come to find out after another incident the police told us that they were Fake! She is nosey and gossips about anything and everything. The pool has been closed for three years and yet the rent goes up 10% every year and they always say its for pool maintenance and inspection, etc. This place is the definition of greedy. I'm so glad I don't live here anymore. There are roaches in the apartment, but Pam will lie and say you are the only one that has them , But, once you meet your neighbors and start to talk you find out she says the same thing to everyone and Everyone has roaches! We also had 2 baby snakes and a lizard in our apartment over the 3 years of being there, but the roaches were the worse."

"My mother in law moved in here and was loaned my family car, because she was a month behind in rent, Pam the manager/ co-owner towed the loaner car so my mother in law could not return to work. The other co-owner has turned off her aACc and changed the locks so she can't leave her apt and lives in fear. She must not like a lot of other tenants because there have been ambulances coming to rescue other residents suffering from heat exhaustion. My mother in laws neighbors were mixed race couple which Pam doesn't approve of so she would repeatedly tow their car. They had to park offsite at the business center nearby. Many other residents have to do this.The pool has been under construction for 6 months. Many residents have non functional appliances, bad plumbing, Pam will not repair anything. I would consider every other possible option, know she will not give you your deposit back because she is evil and a thief."
