"I moved in here relatively recently - so far only good things to report. The openness feel you get in the apartment is what I was looking for - the tall ceilings and "industrial" vibes are cool. Location is awesome and was one of the biggest reasons I chose this place. There is a ton of construction going on across the street and I have NEVER heard it. Tons of people have dogs, and although I can hear some of them bark when I walk down the hallway, I rarely am able to hear any barking in my apartment. The maintenance person and the property manager have been responsive and kind to anything I need. Looking forward to staying here a while."
"I love the place and the location. My boyfriend and I moved into a 1-bedroom loft and we love how it is so updated. We have lived in old Victorians so we have missed out on the updated luxuries. Every questioned that we have had has been promptly answered by Fulcrum staff, specifically Alex. Also, I love how secure the building. Our last home had a huge homeless problem so it is nice to not have to worry about homeless people getting into the building. Definitely would recommend living her."
"Relatively new to 1600 H, but I really enjoy living here already. I moved from an old Victorian a few blocks down. The units are modern and the building is always warm, huge difference from my old place. Love the cement floors and open floor plan. The walls seem to be pretty thick and you can't really hear your neighbors. With all that said, there is one issue I have experienced so far. Loftworks does allow pets and while most everyone's dogs seem to be great at living in close quarter loft units, there is one dog that seems to bark excessively on our floor. For some reason, barking you can hear really well. The doors must be thin because it sounds like the dog is right outside of our door, so we have to turn up the TV volume loud to try and drown it out. In reference to the 1 star review below, what he described is an exaggeration. This place is much safer than living in any house downtown. Every door in the building is locked, depending on the entrance you use you have to use your code/key 2-3 times to get to your unit. For years I used to live much closer to the bad homeless areas and 1600 H is way cleaner/safer with a lot of light around the building. Not sure what he expected living downtown. Also, the community manager Alex has been great to us so far, she was extremely helpful during our move!"
"Have lived at 1600 H going on 4 years and can't say enough good things. The units are stylish, location is ideal, and management is very attentive. It's been great living here and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for modern lofts in downtown."
"I’ve lived here for several years and love it. Great location and management is really responsive. You may encounter the occasional homeless on the surrounding streets but not anymore then you’d expect living in an urban area. Management generally keeps the surrounding areas very clean. Only complaints I have would be that street parking has become more difficult recently. With the continued development of the area (both residential and commercial) there hasn’t been a corresponding increase in street parking for residents of the area. Additionally, the units are equipped with a washer/dryer combo which doesn’t work as well as a normal washer and dryer. Lastly, rent has risen quite a bit since I’ve started living here which I imagine at some point will outweigh the worth of living here."
