"Since moving in everyone has been so nice and understanding. This is by far one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed in. Alicia was so patient with my wife and I, She took a lot of worries off of our shoulders. I’m so glad we choose this property."
"First month here at the complex. I'm loving the follow up maintenance guys and front desk (Molly) have been able to give me, specifically in a timely manner. They certainly view tenants needs as a priority for them. My husband and i are able to cherish every inch of our unit with a touch of our personalities. We also have an after school program for the kiddos in the clubhouse. Have an on-site 24/7 package access locker for deliveries. I cannot wait for the warm weather to explore our pool!"
"Kensington is a great place to live, I been here for almost 1 yr and have not had any issues, the management team is absolutely great, specially Michelle Forkas. Really great person all aroun, she help me with recertification i got great service from her, thank you your help from begging until now. I would really highly recommend it."
"I’ve had a pretty good experience within these last few months at the community. The reason it isn’t 5 stars is due to the lack of parking for guests due to dumpsters (construction), gate malfunctions and not having the box close to the gate so it’s accessible from the car, and the cleanliness of the on-site washing machines themselves, however cleaning staff does a decent job at maintaining the cleanliness of the room. The staff is very polite! It’s sometimes difficult to reach a live person via phone but when you do get in contact they are pleasant."
"**UPDATE** The damage to my apartment complex still hasn’t been fixed since 10.29.23. Gate clicker still hasn’t been provided even though I moved in during the month of July. They keep saying “the gate key has to be programmed.” On 12.7.23 Kayla stated she would reach out to me to reschedule a time for vendors to come because Tawni had informed the day prior that vendors would come from 12-1pm. By 1:30pm no one had shown up and I had to leave for work. It’s 01.05.24, I haven’t received any communications from Kayla. However she told Alicia (property manager) that the repairs had been paused since they couldn’t get into my apartment. I had to reach out directly to her manager I don’t let them in my apartment without me being there because when the damaged happened, on October 29.23, maintenance wanted to just paint over the water damage and not look for the underlining cause. When I got frustrated and said they were doing an easy fix touch up job. The maintenance manager responded “no problem, we’ll do it the right away” and each time I would ask him for an update he would said “thank you for your patience, we’re trying to get it fix the right way” The manager doesn’t do a great job at reading and understanding my concerns and gives a response in favor of her employee and apartment complex. No one seems to care that my apartment has been damaged since October. I’ve seen them repair apartments when people moved out, added new features to the apartment such as turf and a fence but the damage to my apartment remains unfix. I just want my ceiling repair, is that too much to ask? —————————————————————————— I’ve only lived here for a few months. The first month in was already off to a shaky start. The lease agreement stated I would be given a clicker but when I asked for one, I was told by the a couple leasing agents and the manager, Alicia, that gate clickers weren’t going to be provided and the gate code that I was given should be used. The keypad to the gate is on the other side of the gate, next to the walking in gate (where you have to exit your car, walk to enter the gate code and then walk back). Yes the appliances are new but they aren’t installed properly. My dishwasher had to be repaired two times (even though it was a new dishwasher, installed shortly before I moved in, in July). The draws aren’t put in correctly so there’s always an alignment issue. On October 30 I had them come to fix a draw in my kitchen, a couple weeks later, a draw in my bathroom became loose. I’ve reached the point where I’m just going to let the draws stay like that. I’ve now experienced two flooding in my apartment unit since moving in. The first one had to them not turning off the pipes in my unit, when they were working on the pipes. When they turned on the rest of my pipes, it cause for the pipes under the sink to overflow and flood my the floors. The second is happened on October 29th, when my upstairs neighbor bathroom had flooded and water started seeping through my ceiling. My whole bathroom floor was wet, my bed was wet, and my carpet. My bedroom ceiling now has discoloration from the water damage. And there’s a whole in my ceiling. When I did my walk through I noticed there was a crease in my ceiling. I brought it to the leasing consultant, Kayla’s attention, but she told me the ceiling was find. Fast forward to October 29, when the flooding had occurred, water had gravitated towards that crease and the pool of water started coming through the crease (this was Collins their maintenance guy assessment). The damages still hasn’t been fixed, I keep getting the runaway, and Kayla keeps denying the crease in my ceiling played apart in my carpet getting flooded. They only care about their rent being paid but the conditions of your living, they don’t care about. Kayla kept asking me if there’s an active leak in my apartment, continuing the trend that they only want to fix an issue AFTER a bigger issue has taken place."
