Rivercrest Apartments

"Pros: It’s a good starter apartment if you’re planning to live on your own. Good for college students. Inexpensive. We lived there for 3 years. Right by the American river trail. Dog park, tennis courts, outdoor lounge area, and park like atmosphere. Maintenance was quick the first two years. The walls were thick I hardly heard my neighbors music next to us. Rooms were spacious. Cons: Very old wear and tear in the kitchen. Kitchen appliances outdated, cabinets old and painted over, and the carpet was also the major concern we had since we moved. I asked 3 times that the carpet needed replacing. The previous owner had a cat and it smelled so bad in one corner of the room where I think the cat did it’s business all the time. I only got them to do a carpet cleaning. Unfortunately my requests for a replacement were never considered, but they were so quick to take 1/3 of my deposit to replace the carpet after we left! Very disappointed with our requests being dismissed and money being taken from our security deposit to pay for carpet replacement once we were gone. There is mold dripping off the walls, it was so gross because you could see the mold almost melting off the bathroom walls. Never did we get our bathroom vent fixed either which was the culprit of the problem with the mold. This apartment has popcorn ceiling which released a ton of dust! This was a MAJOR con and I always got sick no matter how much I kept it clean and vacuumed there. Lastly, no washer and dryer in the apartment. Laundry days were my least favorite. Mail is always being broken into. My degree was stolen from there and I would find myself searching and waiting for mail at times that was no where to be seen or found. Sucks. I had to get a PO Box I got tired of mail always being broken into on a weekly basis. Gates were always open during the day and night. Leasing staff was kind, never had a problem with them, always answered my questions. Thanks Bryan for all your help."

"We found this place and it was really easy to schedule a tour. The leasing office was really helpful, particularly Brian. He has been helping us through the leasing process and kept us in the loop on any updates. We just moved in recently and we’re really happy with our new place."
