"Avoid this place. It’s been a horrible experience since moved in. My partner’s car got towed away the second day when we moved in. That’s because they messed up the parking assignment and assigned an existing tenant’s parking lot to us. When I parked my car in front of the building just 20 mins on Sunday, the leasing office guy put a super sticky parking sticker on my car window and it took me almost 5 hours to research how to take it down, and try to remove it but still failed. Feeling like leasing officer has nothing to do but finding all the ways to get your car towed: I am sure they connected with the local tow company and try to make money on these. Also there is a huge issue regarding to the noise. The floor is like paper thing and the kids upstairs running around would just make you wake up at 7am. And you will hear constant loud noise from upstairs that disturbs your work from home meetings when they stepping /running/walking within their apartments. When you complain to the leasing office, they just ask you to call the police without even trying to solve the issues. In addition, since we moved in, which is only 1-2 months. there have been already one fire alarm test and one PG&E outage. We are paying over $3000 for living here and not worth the money at all."

"The leasing office shows little concern for the residents, with one staff member in particular displaying a lack of responsiveness. Simply contacting them by phone or email is ineffective; you must physically be present in front of them to ensure any action is taken on your behalf. Noise disturbance bothered me like two months and I have to back and forth thousands times for the same stupid issue. Terrible living experience. RUN!!!"

"The breaking and stealing incidents happened this month were horrifying. Plus I can smell weed inside the unit even though it said it is a not smoking property. The manager and officers are nice and friendly. I understand it is difficult for them to solve such issues. I highly recommend the apartment with such high rent consider upgrade the security system. We are not paying for weird person to hangout in the property."

"The apartment utilities are good but the security is bad! I chose this apartment for safety consideration. Didn’t expect it to become so dangerous at nights. Car windows were smashed, random homeless always walk around in the pool area during nights, bikes were stolen in rooms with locks. The only response given from the office was “you should call the police”. Lately I’ve been having nightmares about people breaking into my room at night via the window. I hope the apartment could at least hire some security guards."

"We signed our lease in August and The Celeste has been nothing but wonderful since signing. Well maintained and clean property, accessible, and safe. Location provides easy access to the freeway and shopping centers (Target, Nugget, etc.) However, what sets The Celeste apart in my humble opinion is the fantastic management team here. Responsive, friendly, and available. They are truly a joy to interact with and they take pride in maintaining a wonderful living environment. Having lived in similar luxury property/apartment accommodations in other regions of the state, you learn quickly the quality of property management can really make or break any living accommodation. The Celeste has one of the better, if not the best, property management teams in the Yolo County/Davis region."
